1916D Walking Liberty 90% Silver Half Dollar Obverse Mint Mark Hard to Find Date
1916 and 1917 are the ONLY years that the mint mark was put on the Obverse (Front) of the coin. All other years it is on the Reverse. It is estimated that only 50,000 of these coins are still in existence as most of them were melted.
This coin has the potential to grade as a P01 (the worst grade possible) which is VERY collectible and will greatly increase the value.
The coin is in raw uncertified condition and is a very nice coin. Please look at the images and grade the coin for yourself as this is the actual coin you will receive. We do not attach a grade to the coin as grading is very subjective. We will leave that up to you to grade the coin based on the images provided.
