✅ 1957 D Roosevelt Dime 90% Silver BU Uncirculated 10c US Coin

This 1954 S Roosevelt Dime is a beautiful and valuable addition to any coin collection. Minted in Denver, this 10c US Coin is composed of 90% silver. It features a reeded edge and a diameter of 0.70 inches, with a business strike type. Designed by John R. Sinnock, this Roosevelt Dime has a mintage of 13,000,000+ and is part of the Roosevelt (1946-Now) series. It is a great investment for coin collectors and enthusiasts, and is being sold by BournesTreasures on eBay. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of American history!

Authorized by the Coinage Act of 1792, the dime is the smallest and thinnest coin in all of the US coins minted. Before the dime became official, there was a strong desire for a smaller denomination of the US dollar. The Seated Liberty dime was the first dime to contain 90% silver in its alloy structure; before that, the dime's silver content was slight below the 90% line. The Roosevelt dime is the most current design in US coinage. Its predecessors contain a list of draped bust dimes, capped bust dimes, Seated Liberty dimes, the Barber dime, which was named after the Chief Engraver of the US Mint, and the Mercury dime. President Franklin Roosevelt passed away in 1945 and sooner after, a legislation was introduced to update the dime's design and feature the beloved late president.

The 1957-D Roosevelt Dime Roll comes from an original bank roll. The 1957-D Roosevelt Dime was minted by the Denver Mint and has a mintage of over 13 million. Only established in 1906, which is considered young for the almost 200 year old mints, the Denver Mint mainly produced commemoratives or mint sets. Coin collectors will see the "D" mint-mark from time to time, on silver coins, because the Denver Mint had to aid in fulfilling the requirements of the Pittman Act.
